What is Bio-Microneedling? It is the use of spongilla spicules which are a kind of siliceous bio microneedles that are extracted from the freshwater sponge. It can be seen as a powder by our eyes and as a sharp rod crystal or blunt bone needle under the microscope. Spongilla Spicules are generally 200-250um in length and around 10um in diameter. How Microneedles work on Acne: The bio microneedles penetrate into the epidermis stimulating the skins healing response. The spicules in this treatment destroy the bacteria, helping to reduce the acne breakouts, increasing skin cellular renewal reducing acne scaring, increasing collagen production. The Purpose of this treatment: - Help treat acne/oily skin types - Exfoliate the epidermis - Reduce acne breakouts - Improve acne scarring/pigmentation

Cancellation Policy

SONA Skin Studio requires 48 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment time. A credit card will be held on file for all clients and will only be charged in the following instances: Any cancellations or changes within 48 hours will be subject to a late cancellation/rebooking fee of $50. Appointment no-shows will be charged a $100 no-show fee. Anyone that has previously no-showed an appointment will be required to pay for future appointment in full upon booking. SONA has a 10 minute grace period. Your treatment time will be shortened in order to not affect following clients and appointment times. Any clients who are later than 10 minutes will be marked as a no-show and no-show fee and policies will be applicable. Thank you for your understanding! All first time clients require a $100 deposit to secure their appointment time. This can be paid via E-transfer or credit card. This deposit will be applied to the cost of your treatment.
