Service Description

Professional Jessner;s solution produces aggressive and predictable epithelial desquamation. Contains a combination of 14% resorcinol, 14% salicylic acid, 14% lactic acid. Lactic acid has exfoliating and lightening effects and stimulates the formation of collagen. It’s is significantly softer and lighter than other fruit acids, which is why it is mainly recommended for delicate skin, sensitive skin. It also infuses and sustains moisture in your skin. Salicylic acid has a skin-thinning, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect. It eases itching and increases healing of superficial skin defects. Resorcinol is the third active component of the peel which intensifies the action of the acids. Resorcinol erodes dead and uneven skin while sterilizing the skin with its antiseptic properties. These balanced proportions of chemicals work in unison to provide a potent layering exfoliator of the epidermis, leaving clear, even and smooth skin underneath. The Jessner Peel is generally safe for most skin types and is especially effective for normal to oily, sun damaged, dull, and uneven skin. With the Jessner Peel, skin is renewed and rejuvenated.

Cancellation Policy

SONA Skin Studio requires 48 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment time. A credit card will be held on file for all clients and will only be charged in the following instances: Any cancellations or changes within 48 hours will be subject to a late cancellation/rebooking fee of $50. Appointment no-shows will be charged a $100 no-show fee. Anyone that has previously no-showed an appointment will be required to pay for future appointment in full upon booking. SONA has a 10 minute grace period. Your treatment time will be shortened in order to not affect following clients and appointment times. Any clients who are later than 10 minutes will be marked as a no-show and no-show fee and policies will be applicable. Thank you for your understanding! All first time clients require a $100 deposit to secure their appointment time. This can be paid via E-transfer or credit card. This deposit will be applied to the cost of your treatment.
